Today was a day on the road. I did quite some kilometers going from Coffs Harbour to Caloundra.
I made a small stop at Byron Bay, a real surf Mekka. The town consists of surf shops, surf schools, surf outlets and surf foods.
The waves were quite big, so a lot of surfers gathered in the waters. Looked like they enjoyed their time..
I passed Brisbane and will stay overnight in Caloundra.
So as you might see, I am quite far north, farer than I actually planned.
The reason is, that so many people suggested to go to the Great Barrier Reef, that I really want to do that.
So I will go up to 1770 (yes that really is a towns name) to do snorkeling and maybe making a Padi divers licence.
